Etching and aquatint based on images of burnt gorse on the hillside, just behind our holiday cottage in Caherdaniel, South West Ireland. I liked the twisted black shapes against the bright hillside. The plate was inked with black and a separate lighter colour for the hills. An overlay of yellow was rolled on top of the black to complete the image.
